Industrial Revolution Webliographies

This site could be quite helpful because it is a timeline of the whole industrial revolution.  With a timeline people can easily see what happens at certain times, and this timeline is specifically helpful because it shows people, when and what inventions were made.  This timeline is great for writing papers because it easily lays out all the information before you.  This timeline is kind of like an outline of history, but for the industrial revolution time period.  Not only is this a timeline but it does have some links to key words on the timeline to go further in depth on the subject.  When people do research projects these timelines van help them a lot because they can see what events occur around the same time period as the even they are studying.  This timeline lists a bunch of inventors and the inventions they do to make the world more advanced.

This web site is just so great because it has so much information on the industrial revolution.  It has everything from the agriculture revolution, to new methods of communication.  This site is very large and people could find anything they would ever need for the industrial revolution on this site, except maybe pictures.  This web site talks about things such as the steam engine, railroads, and electrical power.  All three of these where huge key points about the industrial revolution.  This site also talks about how the industrial revolution affected society.  So it no only shows what was accomplished during the revolution, but also shows the effects.  Sites like this are just great for people who need a lot of information on a topic for things like a research paper.  This site explains everything thoroughly and is quite easy to read.  This site is also very trustworthy because it is a .edu.

This site is great because it does not talk so much of the inventions and inventors of the industrial revolution, but more of the industrial revolution itself. This site talks of how the revolution got started, the factory system, improvements in transportation and communication, why Britain took the lead, and how the industrial revolution spread.  This site is like a very brief overview of the industrial revolution.  If a person does not want to have to read much but wants a good understanding of the industrial revolution, this is the site sto read.   Not only this but they are three or four pictures that give people a better feel for the time period in more of a visible aspect.  This site is a wonderful summary of the industrial revolution.     Sometimes when people are not writing a research paper and just want to know a little more about a certain topic, this is the kind of site they want.  This site is easy, to the point, explains well, and is short.  This site is also from a school so it is trustworthy information.
