Greece Hero VS American Hero

            The main difference from a Greece hero and an American hero is that the heroes in Greece weren’t made so popular from things like the media.  American heroes today really are people like celebrities and good athletes.  Really the heroes should be more like fire men, army men, or others who fight for other peoples rights or lives.   A true hero is somebody who helps others and is willing to risk something important like their lives to help others.  Now on the other hand, the Greek heroes wouldn’t really be classified as true heroes either.  Greek heroes are men who were god-like and fought huge mythical creatures.  In fact most the Greek heroes were  not even real.  Greek heroes are amazing men with amazing powers, strength, and bravery.  Today’s true heroes are sum what like this as well.  They have the amazing powers of fighting for others and helping others, they have great strength in their minds to have the will power of what they do, and they have great bravery to risk something for others.  This is the true meaning of a hero.  A true hero can be an everyday person, with little money, and that is not very popular.  A true hero could come from a poor family, and never have gone on TV his or her whole life.  Unlike celebrities, true heroes don’t need the media and money for fame, they are famous enough with the people who support the true heroes.  True heroes don’t brag or boast, they just do what they think is right and are satisfied with the glory of helping others.  This is the true meaning of a hero.
