Culture

There are a number of things that have influenced on culture of the times during the cold war including movies, television, music, fashion, and drama.  All the movies of the time were basically war based as so were the television shows.  T.V’s where beginning to be in every household.  On the radio there was music that made people “think and dance.”  As for fashion, men wore suits and women seemed to wear thing dresses that almost looked like launderette.   There where also plays that turned out to be a big hit like the play Death of Salesman. 

Technology

Certain things where created in the times of the cold war such as ballistic missiles, lunar landers and space stations, and computers.  All these things really influenced on the war, and many generations to come.  Without all these important inventions the world would still kind of be in the gutter.  Computers practically make the world go round nowadays, and without lunar landers we would have to send tons of men into space.  These things are just a few that make life easier, awkwardly even the ballistic missiles. 

Espionage

There where many spies, and techniques that the spies used during the cold war.  Spies would do things such as disguising weapons like guns into cigarette cases.  Others used computers for certain spy objectives.  Spies would do whatever they needed to do to get the information they needed.  Some spies would use the internet to help them out on learning information on what they needed to know.  One person spies where working on was Abdul Kussem, kind of like a modern day Sadamn Huessain.  Spies were from all countries

The Bomb

There was a bunch of fear for the drop of a bomb.  The president of the U.S was warning its people of possible nuclear war fare; in fact the whole world basically was.   There were many people who opposed bombs like always then there where others who wanted them.  But nuclear wepons were definitely being created in the masses.  The U.S itself spent about 5.5 trillion on their whole nuclear deterrent.    Also bombs were really being perfected to work very well at this time.
